Volunteer Roles
We need two volunteers (Sound + Video) to run our Audio/Visual systems for both services (8:30 AM and 10:00 AM). Volunteers arrive at 7:00 AM for setup, with band practice starting around 7:30 AM. The second service wraps up around 11:30 AM, and volunteers are responsible for turning off equipment after service.
Sound
The Sound volunteer runs the mixing console for live sound and manages the live stream audio mix using Reaper on a Mac.

- Help band members set up microphones and instruments
- Route channels on the sound board and in Reaper
- Control the Spotify fader for in-between service music (Video volunteer runs Spotify)
- Mix live sound for worship services using the digital mixing console
- Run a separate live stream mix in Reaper (requires only minor adjustments during service)
- Monitor and adjust audio levels throughout the service
- Power down equipment after service
- Complete morning checklist

- An ear for music and opinions on how it should sound
- Willingness to learn the mixing console and Reaper basics

Training Path
New volunteers follow a hands-on training progression:

- Weeks 2-3: Assist with increasing responsibility
- Week 4: Lead with oversight from an experienced volunteer
- After Training: Serve independently on rotation (about once per month)
Scheduling
- We need 2 volunteers (1 Sound + 1 Video) who cover both the 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM services
